June 20, 2015 - Washington Youth Academy graduates 140 young men and women. These former high school drop-outs completed the Youth Challenge program and earned 7.9 high school credits out of a possible 8.0, the highest ever achieved by a class at the Academy since the beginning in 2009. As these young men and women re-enter high school to complete their diploma all will be able to graduate on time. The next twelve months an adult mentor will monitor and help guide these young men and women to keep on track.
